By using this website you confirm that:

• You have read and understood these terms.
• You agree to comply with all applicable laws.
• You are at least 13 years old, or are using the site with adult supervision.
• You accept the limitations set out in the sections below.

2. What the Service Is

We provide a free, browser-based Morse code encoder and decoder, an alphabet chart, audio, light and vibration playback, and written guides on timing, reading and writing and learning the code. The tool runs entirely on your device; we do not receive, store or process the messages you enter. The about page sets out how the tool is built and by whom.

3. Educational Purpose Only

Everything published here (translations, charts, guides and worked examples) is intended for learning, practice, hobby use and general reference. It is not intended for:

• Professional or licensed radio operation without independent verification.
• Emergency, distress or life-safety signalling.
• Military, maritime or aviation operational use.
• Certified technical or compliance work.

4. Acceptable Use

You may use the translator for personal, educational and commercial purposes, including in classrooms, clubs and training material. You may not attempt to disrupt the service, scrape it at a rate that degrades it for other people, misrepresent it as your own product, or use it to break the law.

5. Accuracy and Fitness for Purpose

We follow the International Telecommunication Union standard ITU-R M.1677-1 and test our timings against it, but the service is provided as is, without warranty of any kind. Do not rely on it as the sole means of communication in a safety-critical or emergency situation. If you find an error, tell us through the contact page and it will be corrected.

6. Intellectual Property

The Morse code alphabet itself is in the public domain and you are free to use it. The site design, written guides, illustrations and source code remain the property of Morse Code Translator Pro. You may quote and link to our material with attribution; republishing whole pages verbatim without permission is not permitted.

7. Third-Party Links

We link to standards bodies, radio societies and reference works so our claims can be checked at source. We do not control those sites and are not responsible for their content, availability, accuracy or privacy practices. Following an external link is at your own discretion.

8. No Guarantee of Availability

We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free access. Availability may be affected by maintenance, hosting or network problems, browser incompatibility, upgrades, or circumstances outside our control. We may modify, suspend or withdraw any part of the site without notice.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential loss arising from use of this website, including incorrect translations, misinterpreted output, timing differences, device compatibility problems, or decisions taken on the basis of material published here. Your use of the site is entirely at your own risk.

10. Privacy and Data Handling

Nothing you type into the translator is transmitted to us. What little is processed (server logs, the contact form, interface preferences held in your browser) is set out in full in our privacy policy, which forms part of these terms.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes are reflected in the last updated date shown above, and continued use of the site after a change constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.

12. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws applicable in the jurisdiction in which the operator of this website is established, and any dispute is to be handled in the courts of that jurisdiction.
